The ‘Baby Yoda’ Kitten was Found ‘Covered in Smoke and Ash’ from Calif. Wildfires

Get ready to happy cry. The kitten dubbed Baby Yoda was rescued after the devastating wildfires here in California. After taking one look at those ears, social media went gaga for this very brave kitten.

The North Valley Animal Disaster Group shared the photos and amazing story on their facebook after the kitten was rescued by firefighters battling the North Complex blaze, which has already burned over 304,000 acres.

“Over this past weekend, Firefighters rushed this tiny 2 or 3-week old kitten to the Cal Oak Animal Shelter. They found her in the middle of the road on their route, thank goodness!” NVADG wrote on facebook with two oh-so-cute photos of the Baby Yoda Kitten and social media went crazy!

We are thrilled to see that after Baby Yoda was found “covered in smoke and ash,” is now safe. She is now “being cared for by a medical foster to receive the special care she needs.”

Success! You're on the list.
